001- Video from Cherrygrove inn

[Well, Tulane's up to no good again. Bunny and Tooth have been buzzing around Cherrygrove trying to get used to this... human thing. Especially financially-- Bunny's been writing up numbers everywhere. Science had been his thing long ago and he certainly was no stranger to mathematics but hell if it didn't concern him a little; being human is taxing and he definitely prefers guarding them instead.

Tulane, however, is not being the most cooperative smeargle in the city. He's stolen Bun's pokégear again, and for a few seconds the feed is just a smeargle's mischievous face as he carts about the inn's room.

Until, of course, Bunny snatches him up, carries him upside-down under his arm, and looks into the video feed.]

Quick question.

[Shooting Tulane a look, Bunny decides to ignore the fact Tulane's sticking-out-tongue is definitely being aimed his way. Rude, Tulane.]

They all like this, or is there some sorta clue t' what these buggers are like?

[He really doesn't do much a good job saving face. It's not all your fault, Kushina. Still, he clears his throat and tries to, anyway.]

[She might tease but once you two become friends you won't find anyone more loyal. Except, well, okay you'll find people equally as loyal but-- NEVERMIND. THE POINT IS SHE MEANS WELL.

Sort of. She puts up a hand defensively.]

Okay, okay! I got it! [Still grinning like a moron, though.]

That or people just aren't saying so. I think I heard someone say something about "somepony" on the network before, so if I had to guess there are some former horses around here. Besides, it's not really like talking animals are NEW for me. Summons back home come in all shapes and sizes.

[Excuse Bunny if it seems hard to believe what he's just looked up.]

Summons don't really hang around with humans. They have their own places they call home. They're kind of more like Pokemon. You make a contract with them and they help you out when you need it.

Did something happen, back home? [Curious but not sure if he meant he's the LAST of his kind or was always the only one.]

Understandable. [And why they'd be called summons.

Bunny pauses for a moment, about to answer-- then realises she's asking about the pooka thing.]

It was a long time ago. "Hundreds of years" kind 'a long time, I mean.

[He isn't really abject to telling the story; it's just that no one ever asks. There's not a need otherwise-- what's done is done.]

[Yeah, Jack was pretty surprised, too. But the other Jack seems reliable, in a really strange sort of way, so it's gotta happen somehow.]

No clue. Something about evolution. But he can totally move, watch this.

[The feed recenters on the Magikarp where it flops idly. The end of Jack's new walking stick comes into the picture, prodding a bit until he gets enough of it under Dingle to flip the Magikarp over to its other side. Once there, it flops about madly, like a kid on Christmas morning or maybe like it's having some strange sort of seizure. Finally, its flopping lands it back next to Jack on the side it was on originally. Something about its confused expression is now almost... expectant? It flops pointedly a couple times until the walking stick returns and the entire process is repeated.

The feed comes back to a widely grinning Jack.]

Pretty sure he thinks it's a game.

...I can't tell if I feel sorry for the bugger or not.

[It's obvious Bunny's trying to hide a laugh, though.]

Guess that'll work. You ain't allowed to go tearin' things apart with a dragon like that, y' hear?

Let me know if it works.

[Who knows? One day he might get a Smeargle of his own too.]

Do I get a name to report to?

[To be fair, this is the calmest conversation he's had so far. Bunny actually kind of appreciates it.]

[And it's relaxing to not have to deal with Reno's chatter every once in a while.]

[Man, that was weird to type out. "Bunny"; too reminiscent of those girls at the Honey Bee inn. Give him a few seconds to worry about how to phrase this nicely on the other side.]

Mind if I call you Bunnymund instead? It sounds better.

[That was the best explanation he could come up with.]

[It makes Bunny snort, at least. Pretty much any name is better than 'cottontail'.]

Call me whatever you want. I'm used to a few different names.

[It was true enough, anyway. Humans are weird about names, too, he knows that much-- but in a world where there's no one but humans, Bunny's not sure he can bother much about it.]

[He gave Bunny a rather complex look; with disgust, sorrow, and confusion all built into it.]

[There's a few reactions going on here- one, that's an adorable thing for a kid to name his pokémon. Two, the swift tackle of the pokémon was just a little unsettling and three it's a very good thing Duskulls look more like toys than Nightmares or Fearlings, or Bunny's little heart attack would have lasted more than the three seconds it does.]

[Bunny supposes Sho has a point- though he isn't sure he agrees. Remembering is something he's only recently considered influential; it didn't matter much before. Memories were memores, like dat, and feelings were human folly.

And even if Toothiana had her powers here, she'd not be able to help Sho without Sho's baby teeth. Bunny doesn't even mention it.

Bunny's sympathy, however, is at least clear-- he's a softie.]

All I'm sayin' is, there are police around 'ere an' they can see ya. An' we ain't postin' bail for ya.

Finding things for your team to do together will help them optimize themselves. Things in this world seem to like one-on-one or two-on-two battles, however you can teach your team to work as a group instead of as individuals.
