001- Video from Cherrygrove inn
[Well, Tulane's up to no good again. Bunny and Tooth have been buzzing around Cherrygrove trying to get used to this... human thing. Especially financially-- Bunny's been writing up numbers everywhere. Science had been his thing long ago and he certainly was no stranger to mathematics but hell if it didn't concern him a little; being human is taxing and he definitely prefers guarding them instead.
Tulane, however, is not being the most cooperative smeargle in the city. He's stolen Bun's pokégear again, and for a few seconds the feed is just a smeargle's mischievous face as he carts about the inn's room.
Until, of course, Bunny snatches him up, carries him upside-down under his arm, and looks into the video feed.]
Quick question.
[Shooting Tulane a look, Bunny decides to ignore the fact Tulane's sticking-out-tongue is definitely being aimed his way. Rude, Tulane.]
They all like this, or is there some sorta clue t' what these buggers are like?
[anyone at this inn right now is welcome to arrange to talk somewhere outside it or something /o/]

Mine's quiet. Keeps to himself. I think they're all different.
[But then again, he keeps his Pokemon inside their Pokeballs. Is he supposed to let them out? The guide didn't mention anything about that. Unsure, Rude lets out his Tyrogue and Houndour on the other side to check. Once he's sure they're not running around throwing stuff around his room, he returns back to the message.]
[text] also yes good RUDE /pleased
[It's certainly interesting; sure, every animal back home had a personality of some sort, but in Pokémon it seems to be intensified.]
Guess I'll just have to get used to it.
[Text] Human Bunny is awesome Bunny. :)
[In Rude's mind, he's still equating Pokemon to pets. And if a pet's misbehaving, then you need to get that water spray bottle out.]
[Text] aaaah 8D
[He's used to working alone, even on a team. And usually staying away from people's pets.]
[Text]
What Pokemon is it?
[Text]
[Text]
[That's really a first for him.]
Give it a job to distract itself. Ask it to paint something. It's like giving a dog a ball.
[Text]
[Still, he'll take it into consideration...]
I'll see if I can find paper or something like that.
[Text]
[Who knows? One day he might get a Smeargle of his own too.]
[Text] this is quite possibly the quietest CR he is ever going to get
[To be fair, this is the calmest conversation he's had so far. Bunny actually kind of appreciates it.]
[Text] Rude is the leading claimant to that title. I am sorry for all the one-liners.
[And it's relaxing to not have to deal with Reno's chatter every once in a while.]
Yours?
[text] One-liners are great, ain't no thing.
[...It's better to establish that it's a name, first, Bunny's learned.]
Usually go by 'Bunny', though.
[Text] Cheers! Hopefully this two will get more chances to interact in future.
A pleasure.
[Man, that was weird to type out. "Bunny"; too reminiscent of those girls at the Honey Bee inn. Give him a few seconds to worry about how to phrase this nicely on the other side.]
Mind if I call you Bunnymund instead? It sounds better.
[That was the best explanation he could come up with.]
[Text] I'm counting on it.
Call me whatever you want. I'm used to a few different names.
[It was true enough, anyway. Humans are weird about names, too, he knows that much-- but in a world where there's no one but humans, Bunny's not sure he can bother much about it.]
[Text] Awesome. Thank you!
[A few different names? That's suspicious. Still, such information would probably not be freely given, so Rude just makes a mental note and moves on.]
How long you been here?
[Text]
You?
[Text]
Just got here yesterday. No partner though.

[Text]
If you ever see a red-head, loud mouthed guy who slouches, would you mind sending me a text? Might be him.
[Text]
[He'd ask about Sandy and North, but he's not entirely sure what they'd be like or if he'd exactly want them to have to show up.]
[Text]
[Nothing else left to say for now.]
I'll see you around then. Which city are you at?

[Text]
Travel safe.
