Training isn't necessarily about battling! Mikura - that's my Furret - he doesn't like fighting so much, so I've been training him at reconnaissance and scouting, since he enjoys the training for that. He keeps an eye out for anything that might catch us off guard, and he also is learning how to better scout ahead and even gather berries and things for the rest of us!

My other Pokémon all seem to really enjoy the battling, so they spar with each other and run training exercises when we're not travelling. What you end up doing really depends on what your Pokémon want! It's not like you have to be confined to being a trainer or breeder, ne?
